Where did you grow up?
I was born in New York, but I grew up mostly in South Florida.
Why did you become a doctor and why did you choose your specialty?
I became a Physicians Assistant, because I want to provide health care to all children. I chose Pediatrics Orthopedics, specifically club foot, because I have a son with club foot who has had a wonderful outcome because of the expertise of pediatric orthopedics.
What do you most enjoy doing outside of your clinical practice, when you’re not working?
I love traveling and spending time with my husband and children. We love to travel to Vermont to ski.
Describe your proudest accomplishment as a provider and/or in your personal life:
My proudest accomplishment in my life is completing PA school while still being a mother and a wife.
If you weren’t a doctor, what profession would you most likely be doing and why?
I would be a child life specialist. These professionals that help children understand illness, procedures, and the hospital process.
